Cleaning Ceiling Fans

Why does it matter?  Dust is one of the main culprits of a wobbly ceiling fan, also when dust sits around, dust mites move in. They contribute to allergies and sinus infections. A dusty fan can send mites scattering to bedding and furniture, so it’s actually a health risk.  Keeping ceiling fans clean also insures a longer fan life by keeping vent openings clear for proper cooling of the motor and bearings.

We use a thorough 3 step process for cleaning ceiling fans; first we vacuum the entire fan with a soft brush attachment which gets most of the loose dirt; then we wipe it down with a damp cloth containing a mild detergent and then buff it dry for a clean sparkling finish.
